The question caught him off-guard. He was used to being stared at. If it weren't for his empathic abilities he would have thought that her face did, indeed, equal fear. But children tended to take his appearance better in general, being fascinated instead of disgusted or fearful.
"No...I don't...no," he stammered as he flourished his hands about him trying to think of why the name was so familiar. If he did, in fact, happen to recall over a decade ago seeing one of Hellboy's comic books in the library and glancing curiously before deciding on something a little less...colorful he would have remembered the super hero.
He didn't. The frog was, admittedly, a distraction.
"What is...the frog saying?" he asked as he neared the two.
"I'm Abraham, by the way," he quickly interjected.
