Jo laughed softly. Somehow, she doubted that it was a first, but she wasn't about to call Logan a flat-out liar. Besides, she didn't have a problem buying a guy a drink now and then. Particularly a guy who'd saved her life.
She frowned as they finished the sweep of the upstairs. It seemed... anti-climactic to some extent. And a little too easy. She'd certainly had some hunts that were this cut and dry, but not hunts dealing with creatures quite like this.
"I don't usually have the best of luck," she said, with a self-deprecating smile. "There's a first time for everyting though, guess. I suppose that since there's nothing here at the moment, the best thing we can do is move on and call the police so those women's families can at least get closure. You think you'd know if you smelled anything like that moving around the City again?"
She moved towards the stairs and waited for Logan to join her before she headed down again.
"I'll leave the bar choice up to you. So long as it's not Fangtasia."
She wasn't quite prepared to return to the vampire bar since the split. She couldn't guarantee either of their safety in that instance. Not until she had the chance to talk to Pam and see if the old truce still applied in light of the separation of the two buildings. There was a conversation that she'd been putting off for awhile. But tonight was not the night for it.
