Logan nodded at Jo in greeting and then shook his head with a grunt, "Not in the neighborhood. Don't live far from here. Smelled somethin' that wasn't right and came lookin' for the source. Found that thing, and you." It was a brief explanation but a necessary one.
When they began to move further into the house, Logan continued to sniff the air. It was rank here. Not with decay, yet, but age, neglect and time. And whatever inhabitant had occupied the dilapidated residence since it's vacancy and up until this point in time.
Logan pushed his way through the door, claws out just in case. The silence wasn't comforting but he wouldn't break it unless necessary. Part of this had to do with her so Logan paused and waited for Jo to catch up, to direct. He wanted her to be included in this hunt, not take over.
