Logan nodded at her. "Really really. I'll leave tha door unlocked for ya, you can come by anytime ya like." It wasn't an offer the usually secluded mutant extended to just anyone, especially a human, but he felt like being happy over-rode the usual boundaries. And if Effie didn't have a place where she could be truly happy then why not at least offer her one? Here she could have peace and quiet as well, which was a bonus.
"Men like Stark wanna control the world, even if it is under the guise of a glowing chest plate. He wants peace but at what cost to the rest of us? I'm an Avenger too, and fightin' for the world is on the top of my list just like the rest of 'em, but there are some lines I ain't crossin' and those are tha ones that invade civian privacy and affairs. Leave me outta that."
The world had to have a balance, good and evil. He couldn't stop her from killing someone if she really wanted to, because he didn't have the capability, but he could prevent it in the future by locking her away or rendering her arm-less. He wanted neither of those things, especially because he believed she was still young. Perhaps eighteen, maybe a little older though she still looked to be in that teenage gap. Logan had long since left his far behind in the dust and he remembered well what it was like to be young and ambitious.
