Not disgust, but sympathy crinkled his brow briefly. Leto dropped into a squat in front of the open dalek shell, so he could be at eye level with her. Could she see him? As carefully as he could, he skimmed his finger against her cheekbone.
"I'm here," he said, before dropping his hand back to his lap. The note hadn't been clear about what to do next. Did he need to bring her to the couch? Should he leave her to fetch the body the City had given her?
But he wouldn't leave. He knew that already.
"Can you move back to the living room?" he asked instead. He didn't know if it were possible.
