The moment that hiss hit her ears Christine lifted her eyes from his lips to his eyes. Had she angered him more? She could not think why and had not intended on it. She instantly felt her heart and stomach drop as she worried that she had upset him. But then she saw that change in his eyes and knew that she had nothing to worry about. No, those were not the eyes of a man angry with her. She winced ever so slightly at the pull of her hair but did not make a big show of it given she knew how much that would upset him. He hated the thought of her hurting and especially the thought of hurting her.
A gasp loudly left her mouth as she collided with the wall with no where to go. His firm, warm body was so close and she was reminded of how much she had missed having him like this. Having him close. Those days and nights without him had been incredibly tough. Just to have him here and close to her was beginning to overwhelm her. She barely had to wait long after telling him those thoughts, that she had missed him, to get more of him. She kissed back eagerly as her hands ran up his arms to settle at his shoulders again.
The moment she heard that name he so often called her she could not stop the smile against the kiss. She did not let it stop, however, as she could not be away from his lips unless she absolutely had to be.
