"It's okay. I'm sure I could convince the monkey to pop them back together again," he said with a grimace as he made it back to the couch. The monkey was, of course, Maxine.
He grunted as he landed back on his bottom on the couch.
"Oh! Something weird. Well, I mean, in perspective of our current existence maybe pretty low on the weird scale. Maybe a...2. I have a key that I can't get rid of," he said holding up the key the City provided for him in his pocket.
Of course, the City hadn't left particular instructions on how to use it. No matter what clothes Wash put on the key was in the pocket.
"Is this, like, a City thing? This thing isn't going to try to kill me is it?" Wash asked flipping it through the fingers of his right hand.
