"Mm?" Fred blinked as she finally came back, dressed in clothes that were not slept in. And weren't meant to be slept in. She thought about the question, giving her friend a slight smile.
"I can't get Annie on the line at all, and that bugs me. I don't like what the City's doing, and I don't know why it couldn't have waited. We would figure it out. We'd have found an answer, but it didn't let us. It hurts. Annie, Jesse, I knew them. Also met Hannibal Lecter - creepy guy, but he could have been something maybe." She sighed softly. "Not some crazy cannibal killer, well, not a man who killed cannibals but a cannibal who killed. Kinda goes with what he is."
She sighed again, looking around her apartment. Or Jack's apartment. "I gotta find a new place. I really do." She took a deep breath and nodded slightly.
"I'll find something that comes with an office. Almost did. I thought. How are you?" She finally reached over and touched Dinah, recognizing that Dinah might have feelings to consider.
