"Yeah, I could see how that would be helpful. I won't say no if you're offering."
She looked at the watch that Bruce had given her, very grateful for it in this moment. She didn't look up right away but let out a soft laugh at the comment about her costume. Finally, she did meet his eyes.
"So Dean keeps telling me. You know, I'm starting to think that you two aren't wrong." She sighed. This had been her costume on and off for years and the idea of making a change was a little disconcerting. Not to mention that most kevlars and protective gear would slow her down. "You don't have anything in that lab of yours that would protect me but be lightweight enough that I could still move like I do now? Because I kind of depend on my reflexes when it comes to hand to hand fights."
She was also starting to suspect that going back to wearing a utility belt was a necessity. There were certain things that she needed to have handy in the City, the Hulk serum being the latest in a long line of things.
She felt a little bad for asking Bruce to take time away from whatever else he was working on to look into a costume change for her, but she really did think that having more protective gear would be a good thing with the way crime was in the City.
