Dinah was going to need to get an ambulance out here. She winced as she watched Hulk make quickwork of the gunmen. Effective, absolutely. Maybe a little bit more effective than she'd hoped. But she was alive, and miraculously she hadn't been shot. She was more than a little irritated with herself that she'd been in this position in the first place. There was no shame in calling for back-up, but she needed to start planning better.
She wasn't afraid when the Hulk turned his face to her, but it was certainly a startling contrast to see a little hint of gentleness in his eyes. A little bit of Bruce, really. She smiled up at him.
"You certainly did. Thank you, Hulk."
She was just relieved that Bruce seemed to have at least some modicum of control and awareness in this form. It could be dangerous otherwise. It could still be dangerous, but at least being able to separate the friends from the foes was an important thing.
