Abe nodded, chuckling and let himself into the beautiful room.
He spun around taking in all of the...well...Beauty.
He felt her memories just on the edge and all of the emotions shared like a blanket of life. He was careful not to pry, though, just letting the edge of who Beauty was reach his now exposed palms.
He sat down, cross legged, on the floor putting his palms to the carpet and tilting his head as he reached for that background sentience he'd been feeling since his time began here.
It was a sensation he could only guess was The City's. And so he focused on it now.
At first there were images, things that Beauty had told him The City had experienced in its human form and events that had happened. But Abe wanted more than this.
His Zen-like posture deepened as he closed his eyelids and The City's emotions began to surface. He winced. They were loud and discordant. Some of them didn't even make any sense!
Some were desperate and there were more than one emotion at the same time. Pure emotions like sadness and happiness existed but also infant-like emotions, partial emotions, and emotions he'd never even felt before ran simultaneous. Desire, want, need, desperateness, fear, combinations that he'd never felt in his entire remembered existence presented themselves, he feeling them right along.
He clinched his fists from the floor breathing harshly for a moment as he opened his eyes.
"What the hell?!" he muttered. He blinked rapidly and rubbed his head of the headache that had started building.
