Dinah was right. Bruce would've wanted justice for the person that had taken a life of the person or people that he loved, and he couldn't deny that family closure. It wasn't right or fair. But what in life was? Bruce should know how unfair life could be, he'd had a lifetime of examples to prove it. And perhaps wishing for something to go right in his life for once was too much to ask, or maybe he was just going about it the wrong way.
But it was hard to lose her again when he had just began to get her back from the first stint in jail and the memory loss.
"I know you're right. In my heart I know that what she did was the right choice. I just wish that things worked out for the better for us, and less for the system." It was selfish and he regretted it but he couldn't help it.
The sympathy from Dinah helped some, it eased him, but it wasn't going to get his wife out of jail. "Thanks, Dinah. It helps to hear that someone knows what I'm going through."
