Abe managed a sound of sardonic approval to make up for not being able to show a smirk on his face.
"Tell me about it," Abe replied in agreement. "The things curiosity can lead to when one dabbles in the occult without full knowledge of the ramifications is astounding. And to think most do it for the foolish belief that power will give them everything they need and paradise is somewhere else than where they make it.
