"Really?" he asked putting a finger up to his mouth to prevent it from swaying to the magnetic curiosity the device was. Any of Abe's other questions fell out of play as the screwdriver suddenly disappeared again into the quirky fellow's coat.
"Oh. Well...I get that a lot," Abe replied. "What sort of work do you do?"
He had slowly become just as interested in the man in front of him as the man was in the creature in front of him. The library was secondary. Perhaps if this man knew as much as he claimed he would be more aware of communication outside of the City.
