"Ah," Abe said, interested in his trek. Impressive, he thought. The 'cityborn' had been less than friendly to him. More terrified.
"That is an idea for some consideration," he replied. "Though I started off my time here having a gun pointed at me. Better not poke the beast, so to say. I'd rather make a positive impression on those still not certain of me than impress them to come out with torches. I don't generally do well with fire...or angry mobs. It's a mutual distaste, really."
He thought for a beat.
"The bread isn't that bad, really. It's the ducks that clamor for it that make swimming a little less than easy. A flock of beaks coming at you is something you don't want to relive," he said. "I'm Abraham, by the way. Abe."
