The first thing Abe assessed from the strange, suited man was that he wasn't City Born. It was becoming a quicker assessment each time he met someone. It was as if he'd identified a marker in the ones that had been brought here that simply did not exist in the ones here already.
"I'm sorry?" Abe asked, still bristled by his current predicament. "It's just this blasted pamphlet!" He held up the thing titled "Guide to The City" and sighed. "You see, the streets change as do the locations of land marks. I can almost feel it when it happens. It's very peculiar, like swimming in a school of fish."
