"Everyone has their demons," he said with a shake of his head and complete understanding.
And speaking of demons.
"Ah. Well. You know. It's very predictable. They woke me up and proceeded to test how much experimentation they could do without killing me. To be honest, I was terrified. I did not, at that point, know how to communicate and was stuck where I was found, in a minuscule, filthy tank breathing stale water and sharing company with all the debris one would expect to find in a poorly up-kept fish bowl. It's not exactly the best introduction into the world, but I can't claim it was the worst.
"A future friend rescued me. Eventually, I became a member of a team that dealt with supernatural occurrences. You know, classic fish boy is found in a tube and finds demon friend and fights magical crime. Cliche, really," he said, sarcastically.
