"Were...icky?" Abe replied, taking some time to figure out the implication. "Oh! No-no. I have been this way for as long as I can recall."
He shook his head at Dean's comments.
"Oh no. We were far past primordial ooze by the time written on the tank. And, no, I have always been of this...visage," he said with hesitation and motioning to his body. "I was never a child that I can recall. I figure my age from the time I was awoken as I cannot recall anything before."
Then he nodded.
"I have also been dealing with the supernatural for the entirety of my life. I have fought to contain or eradicate dangerous creatures from around the world for over three decades. The year I left was 2008. It seems we have more in common that it seems," Abe replied.
"In fact, I also have a friend who I consider a brother. He is much like you," Abe added. Of course, Dean hadn't told anything about his brother just like Dean hadn't told Abe anything about his fighting the supernatural. Abe slipped up but currently he was happily unaware of it.
Dean's emotion and history were so near the surface; he wore his experiences like a badge of honor. It was very easy to confuse what he knew about the other with what the other had actually told him.
