The last of the innocent bystanders had fled to safety, running past Leto. There were gasps, tears and fearful looks. Someone tried to grab Leto by the arm, shaking his head emphatically, "Wrong way, man!"
He didn't stop to try and convince Leto to go the other way with him, however. He prioritized his own survival, after all.
Oswin was left hovering gently in front of the empty cafe. In her mind's eye, she looked a bit stunned. Spotting Leto, the blue lens of her eyestalk whirred as it adjusted it's focus on him.
