Hannibal agreed with Lindsey's idea of a party, though perhaps he wasn't thinking along the same lines as the other man as to what the celebration should entail.
"If you miss your family, River, then we should have a get together. Invite everybody that you'd like to see. We can have any sort of gathering you'd like."
There were a few things that Hannibal might have done, were he in her place, that he had a firm belief River would not care for. He would not voice them, particularly in front of a lawyer, but he did take a moment to consider the question and answer it silently.
"We can also see about getting you settled into a place that isn't a hotel room. You're your own woman again, and you don't need to be watched over at every moment." Hannibal had never thought she needed to be, but for her sake he had complied with the court order. It was just easier that way.
