Hannibal carefully pressed the first set of what he could only assume was a code that would unlock where they were aiming to go. He found the second just as easily, and pressed firmly.
He had no idea what to expect, and the sense of wonder was actually delightful. There was the fact that he didn't believe Erik would do anything to cause him harm, considering the level of friendship they had achieved. But he also knew that people, humans, were unpredictable. There was a tantalizing thrill to the idea that he'd gone too far, and Erik was luring him to a place where he could be disposed of discreetly, or left to rot along with the corpse that he had created. Using this show of trust as a away to lull Hannibal into false ideas. Not that it was all a firm belief in his head, but the possibility even being there stirred a primal thing.
He moved quietly, again judging the required direction based on Erik's pull on the body they held.
