"Maybe. I should have died a while back. I've got three or four more years than I did back there. Things don't stop. They keep going; the story didn't stop just because I'm here. It goes on, whether you're here or there." Fred shrugged slightly. It was her theory anyway, a theory she'd had proven by others.
"I'm having a pretty lively life." She laughed softly, weakly. "I think I've seen the books at the Library. You should see the Library. Or maybe you shouldn't. There can be all sorts of things going on there. You'll see comics, books, movies, tv shows. Then you'll step out and there they are across the street."
Fred sighed softly. "Hannibal Lecter is here. So was Norman Bates. Think Spock was. The Enterprise was here!" So, she was a bit of a nerd; he knew that already.
