Wash heard crunching through the grass and struggled to quickly finish the level, disgruntled at receiving only two stars for his hurried efforts. He put the phone away in a pocket of his Hawaiian shirt which layered over an olive green flight suit. He looked up with a squint to the sun and leveled Kaylee's rainbow-ed parasol so he could see the silhouette riding up.

Then he shrugged it off and took on an appearance of nonchalance.
"Yeah, she's alright. Every once and a while stuff falls off her, but mostly it's not the important stuff. Though there was that one time...that was a crazy landing! We all almost died! But, I guess that's the only good thing about being grounded. No death defying feats," Wash stopped for a beat in thought, "Man, I miss that."
He smiled again and stood up to properly greet the man.
"The way you have your mouth open like that makes you look like a fish. You wanna see the inside? Way much more awe in there. And not as many bugs..." he said, pointing at Bruce's entryway for insects between his lips.
