Lois didn't come down from the fire escape, but he'd gotten her attention. She continued leaning over the railing, watching the man with renewed interest. Something seemed... off about his answer, but she didn't know what. Then again, she wasn't a fan of the vague answer. She wondered if the guy was angling for some kind of payoff.
"Might have? Any idea what might jog your memory?" she asked.
She'd interviewed a handful of 'witnesses,' not that she trusted any of their wildly varying accounts of what the big green monster had looked like.
