Dinah had come from a later point in time than Zatanna and she and Zee had settled matters for the most part. She still had her reservations about Zatanna's methods on occasion, but she considered the former Justice Leaguer a friend.
So when she heard that familiar voice, a slow smile spread across her face. She turned in surprise and the smile widened as she recognized Zatanna.
Of course, she was sorry that Zee was stuck here too, but it was good to see a familiar face. She just hoped that there wouldn't be the accompanying pain of finding someone she should know who happened to be from a different reality or from so far in the past or future that they couldn't have a proper conversation without complications.
"Zee! Come in," she gestured to the door. "It's open. Of course, the lock is broken, so it's not like we could close right now if we tried."
She'd spent a decent amount of time at the shop doing clean-up. It was the one place in the City that was truly hers, and there was a sense of healing in being the one to put it back together again.
