Rufio had been floating around absently, looking for a new game to play when he stumbled upon a big group of people starting to form near a stage, signs and posters with some guy's face on them everywhere.
It took Rufio a moment to remember where he'd seen the man before, but as soon as he did rage coursed through him. It was the blonde pirate from the woods, who'd beaten him in the sword fight and then quit the game. Rufio was sore about the whole ordeal, from losing to being quit on. Well, it was obvious that this was an important event to the grownups gathered, and this man had something important to do with it. Time for a bit of payback.
By the time he got back from his warehouse and crouched on a nearby roof there were a lot more people, and Rufio could see the blonde man down by the stage, looking around.
He picked up on of the balloons, all of which filled to capacity with brightly colored paint and adjusted his position. He waited till the man started to walk towards the podium, the crowd clapping, and then it began.
Rufio started chucking balloons, making sure that the first two were aimed directly at the important man's head and back, dearly wanting to set the purple and yellow paint exploding all over him. Rufio's aim was always true, he was one of the best shots of the Lost Boys, but the man had fooled him once and he wasn't letting himself be as confident as he was the first time. This fight would take concentration.
Initial missiles launched Rufio turned the balloons on those who were near the stage, sending them running for cover, isolating and throwing the last few at the blonde till he ran out of ammunition.
Drawing his sword he jumped up on the edge and brandished the weapon in the air, letting out his loudest, most ferocious crow.
"Blonde man!" He bellowed, grin so large his white teeth might have competed with his golden weapon shining in the sunlight. "You cheated for the last time! Back out of this fight too, if you want, but then everybody will see you for the coward you are!"
He launched from the rooftop, floating down to hover in front of the stage, pointing the sword at his foe, grinning like the Cheshire cat as he kept a few feet off the ground. "What'ya say, or are you too scared to fight me again, old man? Going to back out again in front of your friends?"
