Overworked and underpaid....(enigma)

Bruce had been working in the lab too much lately, and though that was completely normal for him as he tended to forget that life moved on in the world around him, he did realize how much time he wasn't spending with his girlfriend, and he felt bad about that. He was still getting used to the idea, and though it was exciting, it wasn't dominating his nature to work himself into the ground. His contraption was almost complete, and when it was finished he would be able to start his testing and finally work out a solution to their problem. He knew what the answer would already be, it was getting to that point that was taking the time and effort. The payoff, however, would be well worth the wait. It wasn't like he had anything better to do with his time anyway, what he wasn't already spending with Enigma and the animals, as well as all of the friends that he made. He hadnt forgotten his promise either to bring Tony here and show him what he'd been up to since he'd first arrive here. He was sure his friend would get a kick out of it, especially when he found out what it was for.

So, to make up for lost time with Enigma, Bruce had suggested that they go out and do something. What that entailed, Bruce wasn't entirely sure but he was determined to make sure that Enigma still knew he cared about her. He was just too set in his ways sometimes. Even for his own good, it seemed.

He finished the task at hand, set down his equipment and called it a night, he could finish up his project tomorrow after he was done spending time with his girlfriend. He was meeting Enigma out at some Asian fusion place in town, figuring it was easier for both of them to just get there on their own. He sill refused to get into a car, which made it difficult to get places. He was either walking where he needed to go or riding a bicycle that he'd picked up in town, and that would be his transportation for that evening.

He changed his clothes, freshened up, and got ready to go meet Enigma. He was dressed in a comfortable black suit of sorts, with a white shirt that buttoned up to almost his throat, and black dress shoes. He bicycled through town, finally making it to the restraunt, parking his bicycle in the gates that were designed for it, not bothering to chain it up, he wasn't that worried about it.

He wondered if Enigma was already there, looking at his watch, finding himself to be five minutes early, so he decided to stand there for a moment and wait for her. People came and went through the doors, not even noticing that he was standing there, and that was okay with him. He was used to that.
