Finally have power!
After the storm started, we lost power on friday evening. It has been out since till today when it was finally switched back on. No more cold showers. No more sweating in the heat.

I had it better off than most.

Now I can actually sleep in my own bed.

I'll be replying to postings either tomorrow or monday.

If anyone has anything I need to pay attention to, please send me the links here.

Hot showers will be a welcome thing.

That and TV. Something else to switch to instead of "Hurrican Ike, the recovery" stuff on the radio.

There are still about a million people here without power.

Yes I am, gonna try to get to it today if not tomorrow at the latest. Still have some clean up to do around here.
