(Ok, time to be official - hence the caps. Take me seriously you guys, and also forgive me for the overall shit of this post bc Idk how to write anything anymore.)
This is a green-level bounty assigned to the Singapore Sling, per the plot calendar, on February 21 on Honor Frey (who looks and sounds familiar for obvious reasons). Her overall file is going to describe her as one of the escapees from the Pluto break-out but it seems she’s joined up with two unknown individuals and a leg of Santa Muerte’s gang over in Tijuana. She is age 28 and assumed to be armed.
Honor’s rap sheet is not long nor particularly violent but she’s been ‘registered’ in the books for a while, with a crime list primarily consisting of smuggling black market luxury goods and drugs, and three mid-profile incidents where she, as part of a group, sent some ‘messages’ to a few corrupt officials in Tijuana - there aren’t many, mostly cause of this kind of thing working very well - to cut it out. She is significantly tied to Santa Muerte, not as inner circle but as a commanding officer of sorts.
See the family resemblance?
The mission will take the crew of the Singapore Sling into the deeper slums of Tijuana, past the resorts and into the high-poverty areas where life is more than difficult, even if the people seem happy. Lots of street kids, lots of shanties, Initially it will be hard to track Honor down, because people seem exceptionally reluctant to say anything. Santa Muerte’s gang does things for the community and the community acts in kind. There are a lot of red herrings that send the group scouting out local bars, small shops, etc. with nothing to show for their work. But eventually the group via Winston Watson will hear a tip about a certain warehouse located on the edge of town and be able to locate Honor on February 23.
The encounter is brief and lasts only a few hours. The group in the warehouse is only five people - two Santa Muerte lackys, Honor herself, and two older individuals who will be later identified as Honor and Mercy’s mother and father. There’s a shoot-out, but it’s over within an hour because Honor surrenders as soon as she realizes Mercy is with the crew. The two Santa Muerte associates escape, but the three Freys are taken into custody. Shortly after, HQ informs the crew that there is a warrant for the Frey parents for tax evasion as well, which doubles the initial pay for the crew.
Overall, the job only takes three days and by February 24th, the crew has completed their mission and can begin filling out the paperwork.
