====================
Alex realized that most people would very much disapprove of what he's getting up to lately. Especially when it had to do with Aurora Moriarty. They probably thought it was dangerous territory what he did, probably even stupid, but then he was sort of used to that. Their snogging incidents during the party was very public, as was everything else that people did in that place. He did think the one time he was roughly, but also playfully shoved to a wall by her, and he had reacted by initiating another snog.. now, that was fun too. That was really nothing new to him. Not at all. But in her case? It seemed he felt more than merely physical attraction. Oh, it was there. And he did feel it. But there was more. He was actually.. interested in her. It felt to be on a more personal level. For one, they both seemed to like fire, damage, explosions, and pretty much anything to do with destruction. It was fun! So long as no one got hurt during it, of course. So that, and the comparisons to his own family, especially his dad's side, as well as how her father was often viewed; it was a common bond for them. They could understand each other. Besides, Aurora wasn't her father, so he wouldn't judge her. He never would. Especially due to the fact that his father was once hunted by people just because of what he had been born to do but hadn't even done yet. But he knew what he wanted and he was going for it.
But what of her? She did like him too, yes? And felt just as strongly about this as he did himself? Gods, he hoped so. It would be so embarrassing if this was all one sided and just left alone once they were finished, and also looking very foolish in front of everyone else too. But no. He didn't feel like that was the case. They'd been getting along great so far. It seemed like there was sort of a connection. If he was wrong, so be it, but he was going through with it anyway, no matter what. Dangerous and foolish because of her father was? Yes, there's that. Very dangerous especially if her parents found out and didn't approved.. there's a good chance no one else would either. Didn't change the fact that nothing was changing his mind. He had often been curious if the stubborn streak was from the Halliwell line or his father's. Maybe it was a bit of both. The young man had also been keeping certain thoughts and feelings inside since that party. He wasn't really the type to just share his feelings or go emo on the interwebs about personal woes. No, he often kept it in. Some could probably see a bit of gloom or frustration, occasionally annoyance on his face, but the most part he was usually happy looking. A smile could hide so many things. Unfortunately, he also knew it's bad to just hold onto it too long. He learned that very early. Which is why there were a number of times when he went off alone to.. destroy things.
It had begun with a baseball bat, or just kicking things. But as he had gotten older and discovered his powers, he had taken to using them, letting his anger at those times just unleash in bursts of fury. Just let his ability lay to waste whatever was around him. His father had bought spare vases, furniture, statuettes, and appliances just for that purpose. But eventually when he was old enough, Alexander had taken to just walking somewhere alone. Like.. to places absent of people, such as junkyards, condemned buildings, or job sites assigned for demolitions (after the employees were gone, though). It also helped him to practice his power, he intended to improve it, make it grow. Which was very dangerous. The power itself had calamity. It came from his father after all. But this was a way for him to just.. release. And it was much better to let his anger or frustrations fuel it, use it to his advantage. That was probably reckless for him, but he was often reckless by nature. He was of the type who thought he should embrace his abilities, to try to reach the full potential for them. Not just the destruction, but all things, like his projection, or witchcraft, spells, and even with school work. With him, it was always going all the way or not at all. His detentions and parent-teacher meetings were never about his grades or homework. He was actually good. It was a behavioral thing, mostly, that got him in the hot seat.
He had been here nearly a week and already felt that need to let loose. Family matters, being in this time, the present danger around them, all of it had collected in his mind, and it was starting to take its toll with him. He had plenty of reasons to go out this time. Some of which he might talk to Aurora about on this.. date. Yes, it was a date. He might as well call it one. He was really looking forward to it. He liked the idea of being close to her. What took place during the party, he felt himself wanting more of it. He had thought of her a lot since then, occasionally whistling as he walked around the complex. He had never whistled like that. But all that aside, he was also wanting to show off for her, to show her just what he could do, how much destruction he was capable of. And of course it was a good outlet for him to let his frustrations out, that was one main reason, but he also wanted to impress her. And he really wanted to see how talented she was with making fire. He liked fire, honestly.
Alex had been more conscious since he had heard of Meg on the boards. He had already left a post before, letting the his mother and other teens know he was planning to go out. And no one but Aurora knew of this meeting place. Which actually turned out to be a place his father had went too before on several occasions. He had approached the main gate of the junkyard location. It was held by a chain and padlock requiring a key. Ohh, really now. He chuckled at that. His skill was quite useful against such obstacles. But he would wait for her to show up. He had also taken note that the remaining workers, what few there were at this time, had already left a half hour ago. It would be all to themselves. He smiled with anticipation, leaning against the gate. He crossed his arms, glancing once again at his watch as he waited for the girl to arrive. He suspected it would be very soon and they'd be able to get started...
