Previous Entry  Add to memories!  Tell a Friend!  Next Entry
Who: Marley Zeller and Fenrir Greyback
What: Fight?
Where: Beehive Preeschool, Berkshire
When: Backdated to Friday afternoon

Marlene knew this was a bad idea. In fact, she knew it was a terrible idea, but her normal calm, pensive personality was nowhere to be seen. Maybe it was the moon phase, maybe it was just the new her with the impulsive wolf living alongside her consciousness, but she was devastated by Hestia going missing and this animal kept making light of it. She could hear her friends' voices in her ear, knowing they would ask her to calm down, to think logically, but that simply wasn't happening. She wanted to see him torn limb from limb and left unable to write ever again.

These were the kinds of thoughts that scared her lately. The kind that made her think that maybe she was an animal more than a human, if her response to an injustice was wanting bloodshed and to cause pain upon the person responsible. No, not pain. She wanted to kill him even though she was well aware that she wouldn't have the guts.

And he wanted to meet at a nursery school. Panic rose in her throat as she picked one, hoped it was right, and aparrated, hoping that he was there.

So the little girl had a little spunk in her afterall. It was almost surprising to Fenrir, that she would actually risk this little rebellion from her oh so civilized self all over a few words said in complete poor taste. Granted everything that Fenrir said was generally in poor taste. But he preferred it that way. No pretense about who he was.

Fenrir was sprawled on a bench outside the Beehive Preschool. Children played on a playground as they waited for their parents to come home from a busy day at work. Fenrir though just enjoyed the show. Dozens of little lives that could be so easily changed and the 'horrors' it would unleash. He loathed them. Loathed their parents that would shun their children, loathed the society that purported to be above such things but reveled in the differences between people. It was so amusing that there were those that thought they could still live a normal life.

Like this little brat. He caught the scent of her the moment she apparated into the area. It was an advantage, but one that required letting go of those normal human bounds and he was certain she hadn't done so yet. Advantage his then. He didn't move a muscle though, just sat waiting for her eyes to scan the area and find him. She'd been lucky in her guess.

Thank god for that. She knew who he was the moment she saw him. Yes, she could have sniffed him out but that would require being in touch with her wolfy side and she most certainly was not. She stepped from the shadows of the alley she'd apparrated into and looked across at him. After a moment's pause, she closed the distance between them at a determined walking pace.

"We're not doing this in front of children," she said, remaining a few feet away.

Was she going to speedwalk into him? Intimidate him with her sense of purpose? She was really all too entertaining with her anger. A smirk curled over Fenrir's features as he watched her walk toward him. "And why not?" He asked as if it were a simple a question as 'was he male'. Fenrir sat back, crossing one ankle across his knee as he seemingly relaxed where he sat. "Don't think the kids would like the show? Everyone's got to grow up sometime, understand how their world really works."
