Arriving

His followers had been quiet recently. And that was fine, at least none of them had gotten themselves caught. But the Dark Lord was ready for his followers to cause a stir. His enemies were becoming overly confident, and his minions were growing bored. That needed to change. So he placed a finger to his arm, and waited.

Lucius was among the first to arrive obviously as they were meeting once again in his house. He wasn't totally keen on that just because he didn't like putting him and his wife at risk but otherwise he wasn't complaining. He was loyal to the Dark Lord and that was what mattered at the moment.

Entering the room he made his way to the Dark Lord. "My Lord," he said bowing down in front of him.

Alecto had just returned from work, when she felt the familiar burn on her left arm. With a groan, she got up off the couch and quickly changed into a clean set of robes. Of course, he had to summon her before dinner. Sighing, she apparated directly to the Dark Lord’s position at the manor. As soon as she arrived, she gave a low curtsey.

Regulus was extremely excited to receive a summons. So excited in fact, that he ran about his room looking for the prefect set of robes, making himself almost late to the meeting. His face was red and he was breathless when he finally arrived at the manor. He gave an obnoxiously low bow and breathed, “My Lord,” with a fervor in his eyes. It was about time he got to do something, he thought as he stood in awe of his Lord.

Severus didn't hesitate to respond to his master's summons, though his spirits were low. Facing the man to whom he had pledged his devotion to should have been a pleasure, but knowing that it was the same man who had attacked Lily made him doubt his resolve.

Despite this, Severus donned his cloak and apparated to the Malfoy manor, quietly entering the room and bowing to his Lord silently before taking his place in the crowd.

Walden arrived cordially on time, of course. He ducked his head respectfully and whispered, "My Lord," before taking his place among the others who were wearing similar masks. Though it was impossible to discern who was who under their masks, Walden was able to make out a scant few: Alecto, Lucius, and perhaps that other was Snape, for example. He knew not what the meeting was for, though he would hardly complain. If the Dark Lord was calling them, then that meant there was business to attend to, and that was something he always looked forward to.

Meeting/Orders

Once they had all arrived, the Dark Lord addressed them. "You are growing restless, I can see it in all of you. But your Lord is a good and kind Lord, and he will cure your boredom. Show our enemies what power and fear really is. I want you to target specific people. The Longbottoms, the Joneses, and the Catchloves. I suspect all have ties to Dumbledore and his ridiculous Order. These are your orders. If you have anything else to report, do so now. If not, then go..."

Lucius listened to the Dark Lord talk and had to admit that was true. They were restless, they wanted to do something, to get out and install fear in the population. The Longbottom's were definitely connected with Dumbledore and he wouldn't mind going after him. He was just relieved that the Bones's weren't named. While the mostly were neutral as far as he knew he didn't want to risk it. "Of course, My Lord," he said bowing once again.

As Alecto listened, her heart started to race. Of course, she was restless, and was eager to make up for her recent failings with regard to Dearborn. She noticed too, that the orders were vague enough, so that it was up to them to dictate how these orders were carried out. That was fine with her; perhaps she’d get a chance to redeem herself. She inclined her head again and simply answered, “Understood, My Lord.”

Regulus listened, and was about to burst with excitement. It took all his self control not to jump up and down and shout “ME!” at all of them. Finally, the opportunity to prove himself a loyal servant to the Dark Lord arose. When the Dark Lord finished speaking, Regulus interjected, “My Lord, it would be an honor to serve you and the cause. Please consider me your loyal servant.” With that, his face got red and he forced himself to stop talking, remembering his mother’s strict lessons about speaking when spoken to and the benefits of brevity. So here merely bowed once more, and waited for a cue from the other, more experienced Death Eaters.

He wanted to speak with Him, but knew better. He bowed to leave, but became curious about the young Black's enthusiasm. He hadn't even noticed Regulus 'till he spoke up.

So, he decided to stay and wait. Watching another member join the ranks would be interesting.

As the Dark Lord spoke, a sense of excitement coursed through his veins. He recognised that they had grown restless and wanted to serve him in whatever way he pleased and he, being 'good and kind' offered up ways to alleviate their boredom. The Longbottoms, the Joneses, and the Catchloves were all names he recognised. He believed firmly that the Joneses and Longbottoms were within Dumbledore's circle, but the Catchloves were news to his ears. Nevertheless, he would see to it, if necessary, that all three families would pay the price for going against the Dark Lord.

Before he could give his committal vow to see to the Dark Lord's business, his attention was caught by one of the newcomers. He would have chuckled under his breath at the naive enthusiasm, but opted to keep that reaction private until he was in the confines of his home.

Finally, when the youth stopped, Walden finally bowed his head again. "I will see that it is done, My Lord," he solemnly vowed, and then turned to leave, a smirk on his hidden face.
