Dear Father and Mother,

It's looking more and more like I shan't be coming home to visit over Christmas. There are too many students staying over the holiday, and I can't leave them. I still hope to Floo in for Christmas dinner, if you'll have me then, but I cannot promise anything.

I was so hoping to spend more time with you both, and with Maximilian and his family, but I know you all understand that my duties must come first.
