I'm getting a bad feeling about this election because someone has already posted in the comments they voted for jameth "for the lulz".

Yeah. The pictures for Jameth's campaign made me feel a little unsettled and disturbed. Very disturbed.

Yeah, who is this Jameth guy, anyway? I went looking for a manifesto and found a lot of stupid pictures and a post telling people how to rig the instant run-off process.

Everything I know about him is from the entry on him on Encyclopedia Dramatica. I get the impression that he's basically someone who has fun "pushing the envelope" on LJ. I don't really think I want someone like him on the LJ Advisory Board.

Ironically, he's now claiming someone told him that legomymalfoy is ballot-stuffing. Wank is ensuing.

I swear I read one of jameth's friends last night who said they "suspected" legomymalfoy was going to do this, but now I can't find the post. *keeps searching*

The stupid thing is, there's no sound mathematical way to rig a vote of this type.

As it stands right now, legomymalfoy is ahead, but probably wouldn't win on the run-off. Unfortunately, if Jameth's supporters have been stupid enough to follow the advice about voting for him as 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice, you can't look at the 2nd and 3rd choice results to gauge who will win.
