Glorfindel has a pet goat, which he keeps in our shared garden – he lives in the rooms next door to me. Every time it sees me, it becomes excited and tries to shag my leg. What it is to be sexually exciting to your neighbours pets!

 

My life would be much easier if it would ignore me and leave me alone when I try to read a book in the sunshine.

You don't get to where I am in life by being all sweetness and light. (Of course, where I am is dead, so that should be obvious.) But you know what? I don't really regret any of it.

Well, wait, that's not entirely true. I regret a few things. I regret that I ran off instead of telling Kristof I was pregnant. I regret not getting to be an actual family with him. I almost regret trying to escape that facility. Because my doing that means my daughter is growing up without her mother. Without the one person who was a constant in her life.

So yeah, I know what would make my life easier.

My life would be easier if I hadn't tried to escape -- or had at least had an actual plan. Because then I'd be alive.

What would make my life easier? There are always many answers to this question.

My life would be easier if there were more hours in the day. That one, I think, applies to most people. So much to do and so little time to do it in. Though, the fact that there aren't is probably a good thing what with you can't tire yourself out as much.

My life would be easier if I didn't have the laws of wolves slightly pressed upon me. I'm not wolf. You'd think I wouldn't have to follow their laws and customs. But I do. Being raised with it, I'm expected to follow it. There are times that I can bend the rules because I'm not one of them, but for the most part, especially with one of them currently living with me, I have to follow their rules. And I know that they are there to keep everyone safe, but sometimes the rules are a pain in the ass not even just for myself, but for some of the wolves themselves.

But, there you have it. My easier if reveled.

I lead a pretty easy life. I inherited a fortune from my uncle, so I don't hold down a regular job since I don't need the money. That means I get to pick and choose research projects which interest me. If I feel like taking a long break between projects I can, though I usually don't. The only thing that would make my life easier is if I could figure out who on the staff is stealing from me. I know someone is, because I've noticed things have been missing. I'll figure it out who it is, fire them, and then I'll have to hire a replacement. Not a task I look forward to.

My life would be easier if I could avoid all those immortals that want to take my head. I just want to live a quiet life, sometimes rich, sometimes poor. Not someone who attracts too much attention, because then there's more chance of someone noticing I don't age.

Oh that would be nice, if I could physically age myself a bit throughout the years. I could spend more time in one lifetime and then when I restart I could go back to being myself. That would certainly make life easier instead of using make up and coming up with excuses for why I look younger than the people I've known for years. I wouldn't have to have so many back-stories ready to go, in case something happens. Well, I would because you never know when an accident will happen, but I wouldn't have to purposely reset as much.

My life would be easier if the war ended. It's not that I'd never be in danger again. Such is a Jedi's way of life. But to be generals, to command hundreds--thousands--of men to their deaths each day... We are meant to fill Darkness with Light, but how can any of this be the way of the Force?

No matter how I scrub, I still feel Jabiim's mud on my hands.

What would make my life easier? A decrease in the percentage of stupid people I have to deal with. Honestly. As much as I don’t mind making gowns and costumes for movie stars, they are such an unbearable bother to work with; so demanding, so self-centered. As if they even know what they’re talking about. Don’t get me started on the so-called “super models”. Ugh. I know it’s impossible, but I wish everyone could possess at least a fraction of my brilliance. It would make them so much easier to work with.

I'm undead. I do not have a life to ease.

( That said, my unlife would be easier without the interference of other clans meddling in Giovanni plans. )
