Prompt #2 - Family

My family is an interesting bunch. My siblings and I are close. Sure, there are the occasional fights that go down because someone's done something stupid, generally between my brothers, but we turn to each other first and outsider the family second.

Mom isn't so much in love with Dad as she is in love with the money and status he gives her. Sounds like it should be a bad thing, but for us, it's better that way. Loves a deadly thing, but I'll probably go into that later I'm sure. Between us siblings and the 'rents though? Sure we love each other, and dad would end the world to protect us. But with the way things work in the corporate world, he may love and care but he doesn't know about us and watch us all that much.

Aside from Dad and the siblings there are very few people I would consider close enough to be family. A few Fae come close. Jon's little band member for instance, she comes dangerously close to being considered a sister to me and Jen.

But pretty much, my family are my siblings and parents.
