002. Family
To the Giovanni, the family is everything. Full stop.
The family is life, success, hearth, home, and benefactor. We know this and we honour this. Everyone attends a family Christmas party and no one declines an invitation to the other parties held on 04 April. No one.
We look after each other. We succeed. We win.
However, behind the closed doors of the mausoleum, we are like any other family. We scheme, we plot, we feed our souls on intrigue and power plays. Small wonder that the Machiavelli found such a welcome place within the Clan. No one ever accuses the Giovanni of being complacent. Eternity is ours, and we know it.
