Who am I?

I am a cast-off. I am an exile. I am an Object Lesson.

I am an example. That the letter of the Law outweighs the spirit. That obedience trumps all. That not only is the Plan not Ineffable, it doesn't even exist. That Creation is a joke, and He's laughing at us all.

You know that cliche about the Road to Hell? That paving stone you're standing on belongs to me.

Don't listen to a word they tell you in Sunday School. The meek shall be trampled into the dust. The merciful shall be as slaughtered lambs. The self-righteous, the warmonger, the zealot -- THEY shall inherit the Earth.

Ignorance is bliss, my child. Makes you wish you'd stayed in the Garden, doesn't it?

Bloody well makes me wish you'd stayed in the fucking Garden.
