Prompt #2: Family

Family. I've got loads. There's mum and me sisters, dad's passed on. There's gran, my aunties, cousins and the neices. Sunday lunch gets busy.

Sadly, I don't see Alison's parents much. Nice folks but they weren't too happy I'd married her in the first place, and I know they blame me for her death. All the coppers doing. Well, I'm only just starting to not blame me and I know I didn't have anything to do with it. I'm not sure if they'll ever reach a point where they accept it.

Still I'm lucky my family is big and forgiving. They took good care of me after she died and I can't thank them enough.

Then there's Jack. He's like family too. I think mum has a bit of a thing for him. He's got no one of his own, him being divorced and all, so we've taken him into our family. I know he appreciates it, even if he does complain.
