Prompt #2: Family
Family is an interesting concept to a digital construct. Before I came to Mainframe, my family were the other Guardians, sprites like myself who worked to protect the Net and those who people it. I don't remember my parents, as Guardians are selected at the point of their initial compilation; birth, I guess, as you humans would call it. Our code is scanned to see if we have what it takes to make a good Guardian. I'm sure I have parents out there somewhere, as I must have inherited something from their code bases.

That said, my true family are my friends: Dot, Enzo, AndrAIa, Phong, Mouse, the Surfer, and Frisket. Heck, even that crusty old barnacle, The Crimson Binome, is in there, proving himself truly dependable despite being a pirate. And that's what it comes down to for me, really: those who you make a place for in your heart.
