Didn't mean to bother you on your break and all but, well, I've finished that scarf that I was going to knit for you.It's gray so I hope you like it.. I won't be offended if you don't and all. Don't worry about it taking up any of my time,  let's just say that this break has been rather uneventful and knitting kept me from losing my bloody mind.

Terribly sorry for the short notice, but you are cordially invited to Hogmanay in Edinburgh. That's Scotland, if you didn't know, and the best Hogmanay bonfire and party city in the whole of said Scotland.

Why does it seem like you've found yourself a quiet little hole that you don't seem to have the care or intention of crawling out of? In fact, I'm not even sure you have remembered how to converse with someone considering you barely speak in class. Less than usual, at least.

I have found out some rather disturbing news. Did you really give your family ring away to someone. I've heard through the grapevine that you gave to a boy by the name of Carrow. Do you really think you should be doing such things? The family crest is nothing to joke about, nor is it something you can just hand off to your friends. We are a respected family it everything we own or that is apart of it should be treated as such. This is something that I would expect from Sirius, but really Reggie why would you do such a thing.

Now I haven't told your mother or Bella what was done. Although, I do hope that you get the ring back. If you don't intend to wear the rind, put it in a safe place. Just don't give it out.

As the cousin of my brother and I, and as my parents refuse to listen to a word I say, I find myself regrettably having to write you.

I recently found Amycus Carrow in possession of Regulus' ring, with the Black family crest.

I don't know why he would have this, or why Regulus would be so utterly mindless as to give something so precious out to just anyone - or Amycus Carrow, for that matter. I know we disagree about lots of things, but one thing we can agree on is the importance of our family name, and maybe you'll understand my confusion at seeing Regulus - who only ever speaks of being the heir of our family, for all practical purposes - treat it as some joke to let anyone borrow. As if the Black family name is some costume, some joke, a novelty.


Perhaps you can talk some sense into him. He's young and impressionable, so maybe it will take your guidance to get to him.

The way that she is acting makes me think that you should if you don't want her to tell your ear off. I haven't even thought of it, I might just write to Reggie and see what he thinks. Dear Cheeky Git That Is Seemingly Evading Me At Every Turn I Try To Attempt To Take To Get To You,

I've heard you're really good at Potions. Is that true? I'm having some problems with a sleeping potion. Do you think you could help? I let it boil as long as the instructions said to, but it's still coming out wrong. Every time I try it I just end up getting sick.

Do you know anything about love potions? There are some other potions I'm interested in trying, if you wouldn't mind helping me with those, too.
