Hanging Out...Driving Off Fans
Who: Patience & Pat
Where: Avarice II
When: Sunday Evening, 3/6
Patience had been more than ready to take advantage of the fact that Cash's nanny, Morgan, had agreed to come up to stay in Vegas with him. Not that she wasn't growing attached to the little tyke, but she felt that her and Pat needed some grown up time that involved drinks, dancing, and jamming to some music that they just couldn't *quite* pull off at home. Once she had dragged him away, she had picked out a table for them near the corner of the club and plopped them both down in it. She had come out tonight wearing a pair of skin tight jeans and a lace up shirt that left an ample amount of cleavage open for all to see. "So, how you feeling, Patty?" she asked, sipping at her drink.
Patty. He had to grin at that, as he hadn't been called that since back when they had first started dating. This was all still so odd... yet so wonderful. Tonight the vocalist wore loose blue cargo jeans, biker boots, and a snugly-fitting shit bearing a downward-pointing arrow and the word 'legendary' above it. "I'm havin' a GREAT time, baby. I'm still just ecstatic to have you back..."
She reached over and hugged him. She almost couldn't believe that she really had him back, either. It had been her own personal hell for him to have been with someone else, after all. "I'm feeling the same way about that," she admitted to him, squeezing him tight.
"You know, I'm thinking the basement of the house I just bought for us needs to be a game room. For you." He grinned, shrugging. "With full-size arcade games in it."
She grinned at him. "Really? With a Mrs. Pacman and everything? And a Donkeykong?" Anyone who called it Monkey Kong was asking for a bitch slap.
"Yeeees, and with plenty of Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat so you and Gwen can amuse me for hours." He laughed, knowing those two were hilarious playing those kind of games.
"You're so awesome to me, you know that?" she asked, leaning over and kissing him quickly on the lips. "We'll have to add Blake to that list now, too. I get the feeling she's another goof like us, though, so I think you'll be plenty entertained."
"True. And she's as hot as Gwen too, so... More eye candy for us!" Oh, beautiful, Pat.
Hey, not like Patience didn't agree! "Hey, like Gwen would pick a fug to fall in love with," Patience pointed out with a smirk.
"Ok, fair enough. Not that either of them are nearly as sexy as YOU..." He said with that leer of his, not even noticing some of the other women in the club kind of glaring at them.
"Of course not," Patience said with a nod. "They're still pretty damn sexy, though." She then noticed that some women were glaring at them. "You looking at something, bitch?" she called out to one of them. When the woman turned away, she smiled. "Yeah, I thought so! You just wish you were as hot as us!"
"Yeah, I can just TELL that me starting to get famous is totally gonna end well..." Pat muttered as she yelled at an obvious admirer.
"Because I'm sure she's gonna quit listening to your music because your girlfriend told her to quit staring," Patience said. "It was getting creepy and you know it. If they come up and ask for autographs like NORMAL people, I'll play nice. Promise."
"Heh. Luckily I find your jealousy hot." He admitted, reaching to squeeze her hand. "It's weird though... Last time you saw me I was just known around Sunnydale..."
"I know...OK, it's kind of weird to have people staring at you all the time now," she admitted, squeezing his hand back. "If that's the worst I gotta put up with to be with you, though, hey, I can live with it."
"Good. I'd hate to see you go taking off again. Or... for the first time I guess? Damn this shit's confusing." He mumbled, shaking his head a little.
"Yeah...definitely gets confusing after a while," she said with a shrug. "Still, I'm here now and I ain't going nowhere at all. That's a promise I can keep." Unless another worm hole opened up, but that's totally not her fault.
"Good. I'm done losing you. Next time... I'm just jumping in front of a train or something." Oh, sure... he laughed... but one got the feeling he MEANT it.
"Yeah, like I'll do any better," she admitted to him. Frankly, she did every bit as bad without him as he did without her. "I don't want to be without you ever again, OK?"
"Sounds like a pretty good deal to me." He agreed with a gentle smile. "I love you, Patience. Always have... always WILL."
"I love you, too, Pat," she said, hugging him closely for a moment. She hoped that nothing would ever separate them again. If it did, she wouldn't be able to take it.
