| About: |  La Vie en Guerre is a lightly supernatural historical RPG set in German Occupied Paris, France. It starts in the late winter of 1940. A puppet government is in control of all of Northern France and administrating most of the southern 'free zone'. Rations are low. Luxuries are unheard of other than cheap booze, free music, or show girls. Many families have been left wondering if their husbands and sons will come home, if they are prisoners of war, or if they are dead. A curfew is strictly enforced. There seems little reprieve in sight and people are losing hope. Most of the city seems to have just accepted what happened and is doing its best to move on with what is left of their lives. However, there are a few who are starting to talk about fighting back. Whispers of building a resistance have begun to work their way through the shadows and a few rare, heroic people are stepping up to the cause. Whether their efforts will make things worse or better has yet to be seen, but at least it gives some Parisians hope. Will you be among the Parisians fighting for a better life? Or are you just trying to survive on your own? Have you heard the rumors of the monsters who fought on the side of the Germans and do you fear them all the more for it? Are you a monster yourself?
