Because it's funny! 300 is a movie that alway works well with parody due to its hyperboles over the top type phrases and speeches. This amv if you are familiar with the series Haruhi Suzumiya, perfectly manages to take the scenes and match them to the dialogue telling a coherant story that is enjoyable to watch.
