Tag to Lee!
Who: George Weasley and Lee Jordan
Where: Stellar Lounge
When: Evening
What: George and Lee bond, or something. Whatever boys do.

It was a good while after George had agreed to meet Lee at Stellar for drinks. Weeks, in fact. It had taken him that long to drag himself out of his funk enough to stand the company of someone other than his brother. He still wasn't in the best of spirits, but he worried about what Lee might do to him in he didn't take him up on his offer soon.

Following instructions, he walked past the line at the front door and moved around to the back, letting himself inside. Luckily, before his descent into hermithood, he'd spent enough time around the lounge with Lee that he knew most of the staff so no one gave him a problem. He asked around, and after getting the answer "He was right here just a second ago!" from just about everyone, set off to find Lee on his own. Hopefully it didn't take him too long; he already felt like he needed a drink.

The Lounge had a very strict appearance code when it came to hiring employees- especially the hostesses and waitresses- that is, they had to be "aesthetically pleasing." It was not something that Lee made up, but the owner expected it and it helped to keep a certain flare and reputation for the Lounge.

Not that Lee was complaining, however, as he smiled brightly at the two newest additions behind the bar counter. Their names were Trisha, who apparently liked to dance (and had squealed happily when she found out that her new boss's mother was Nora Blake, the professional waltz artist), and Fiona, who had the greenest eyes that Lee had ever seen.

The head bartender were showing the girls were everything was behind the counter, but he did not seemed to be too bothered by the fact that the general manager was sitting only a few feet away, and was cracking jokes with his students. Lee was known to be a very easy-going manager, and treated everybody more like friends than employees, which helped with the working atmosphere at the Lounge. He figured that working to cater a bunch of rich kids with ego issues was bad enough; they did not need an overbearing manager looking over their shoulders.

"Why don't you teach them your bottle tricks," Lee was saying with a wicked smile when he caught sight of someone very familiar. Leaving the bartender to fight off the curiosity of two beautiful ladies, Lee excused himself quietly and made his way over to George. "Hey, buddy! You look lost, what can I help you with," Lee laughed, clapping his friend on the shoulder.

George made a surprised noise when Lee appeared beside him, but he greeted him with a smile. "Just looking for a friend; he's the manager here. Maybe you know him. Kinda tall, handsome, though he's got a big mouth... and occasionally sets curtains on fire." He elbowed the other in the side gently, laughing.

"How've you been? I saw the line at the door, so business must be pretty good," he said, glancing around the bar.

"Yeah, considerin' this is suppose to be dead season," Lee nodded slightly, "I'd say that business is goin' pretty swell. Which just means that there will be plenty of work for me, unless I decide to cash in on that vacation hours I've been (supposedly) earnin', but where the hell would I go?"

Pausing slightly, Lee added as an afterthought, "And, man, about time you showed up, I was beginnin' to think that you were serious about that hermit crap. Alicia and I were planning an intervention."

From where Lee was standing, his manager instincts kicked in and he could already see that where he and George were standing potentially could cause traffic congestion towards the bar. Motioning for George to follow him, Lee moved closer to the bar, "I guess I owe you a drink. Or several," and flipped over the trap door to get over into the other side. "Hey, ladies," Lee smiled at Trisha and Fiona, who were still getting to know their way around behind the counter, and to George, Lee said, "Have a seat, dude. I'll get you your drink and you can tell me how've you been, your day, your week, month, whatever."

"I'm sure you could find somewhere to go on a vacation," George chuckled, following the other man closer to the bar. "How about a beach somewhere? Lots of nice weather and even nicer girls. Though I guess you don't seem to have a shortage of those right here," he said, flashing the girls behind the bar one of his most charming smiles. Hey, he still had it.

"An intervention?" he laughed. "I almost wish I'd stayed home, then. I'd kind of like to see you two try to do that."

"I never turn down a drink," He admitted, sliding onto a stool and watching as Lee moved behind the counter. "But really, there's not much to tell. I've just been at home," Moping, "working on some new stuff for the shop. Almost burned that mangy cat of Fred's alive the other day... completely by accident, of course."

"I am not the one here needing lots of nice weather and hot girls," Lee replied airily, grabbing a martini glass from behind the counter and placed it down on the counter with a bright clink. "By the way, you're always making up lame excuses when I try to set you up with some really nice girls. I mean," He turned around and waved at Fiona, who waved back with a perfectly manicured hand and lips red like, for the lack of better metaphor, fresh blood, "How about her?"

Behind the counter, Lee felt at ease. Although not a professional bartender, Lee knew enough as a hospitality manager on the etiquette of bottle handling, mainly, how look cool while pouring alcohol. "How about a Black Russian?" Because the first item he found there was a bottle of coffee liqueur and decided to make great use of the fact.

"Fred has cat now? What happened to those... miniature... goats you guys had going on during Hogwarts?" Lee wrinkled his nose, he had never been a fan of things he was allergic to, mainly, furry animals with fur. Why did people think he had a pet tarantula? It wasn't because he thought those things were adorable- what kind of person would keep a spider for aesthetics reasons?

George followed Lee's gave, appraising the girl. She was very pretty... But he just couldn't seem to make himself care. Her nails were too nicely done, he decided. She'd never want to hold something slimy for him while he worked. "She's too perfect," he informed Lee.

"Black Russian sounds good," he nodded. Any sort of alcohol sounded good, but he didn't want to ruin the other's mood by saying so. Lee seemed to be enjoying being behind the bar.

"Sheep," He rolled his eyes. He'd never cared for the sheep much either; they were much more prone to eating things than his puffskeins were. "They're still hopping all over the place. But he found a stray cat out behind the shop a while ago and has slowly housebroken it. Very slowly."

Lee paused for half a moment before resuming fixing up George's drink. "Dude, weak," he said blandly, as if he was talking about the derivative of x-squared, and put the finishing touches on George's drink, which was nothing because there's only so much you can do with an alcoholic mix that had two main ingredients pretty much set in stone. "What about the one beside her?" Lee jutted his chin out toward the girls' general direction, "I hear she's a dancer and you know what they say about dancers..."

"Sheep," Lee repeated, "I've always wondered if you guys were going to open a joke shop or a petting zoo." Truth was that Lee was not that big a fan of the notion of having to take care of something that was essentially a burden. It was not as somebody was willing to pay him interest on his pet dog. No matter how cute they were.

[OOC: Sorry, I'm so lame and slow D:]
