My thanks to all those who participated in the creation of the Outlanders and Animals Calendar, especially those of you who volunteered at the last minute to finish the job for our friends who have gone on to other worlds. Your efforts made a process that could have been stressful smooth as a bolt of silk, and I cannot voice my appreciation enough.

Now the time has come to place orders. Please, Outlanders of Vallo, support the well-being of animals both wild and domestic and the artistic efforts of your compatriots by pre-ordering on the Art of Expression website. The previews I have seen of the work of our photographers are truly beautiful, and accordingly to my brother-in-law, "So hot! And so cute! Some are both!" I believe you will not be disappointed if you take one or more of these calendars into your home.

Maze is due to have her puppies in the middle/end of July. She's going to have five puppies and Thor is getting two because they're apparently Hell/Hel puppies. Maze wants to keep one.

So I'll have two to good homes in about November? Maybe October, depending on when they're born. But is anyone interested? Be warned that they are creatures of Hell/Hel, no clue how big they'll grow, and they need to run a lot, may need to feed on blood/souls. Animal blood is fine.

Anyway. Eleanor wanted to celebrate her moving in with a party and so next Saturday we’re gonna do a thing at the penthouse. If your plus one isn’t on here, you can bring them. I’ll tell everyone the ‘do not go’ places mostly cause if you fuck with certain things, your blood will end up outside your body and dead body clean up is a hassle. Much less all the blood. If you want to bring something, go for it. Otherwise, I’m not super bothered.

I appear to be affected by the latest in Vallo's strangeness. When I rose to dress this morning, my clothes applied themselves to me of their own volition, with flashing lights and energetic music as I twirled. It was disconcerting, but everything appears to be in place as it ought to be.

However, instead of the usual mouse or vole carcass, I have been presented with a pile of brass and gears. It looks like it might have been a dragonfly before they detached its wings.

I guess this place heard me when I mentioned my club. I'm definitely not rushing to open it right now, but Carpe Noctem is here. If anyone wants a job, contact me. I'll need someone to help me run the bar, waiters and waitresses, and other staff. It is a BDSM club. There are back rooms for all your interests. You will respect the staff or else.

I'll let everyone know when the opening is. Probably sometime next month once I get staffing and things situated.

I managed to get one of the sheep led back where it belongs. There were two more I spotted about three miles east of Skyhold's outer wall, but I wasn't able to catch them. For sheep, they're wily, and not nearly so interested in apple slices as I generally expect a sheep to be. If you're in the area, see if you can do better than I did.

I also learned that those undead creatures are shockingly strong. Leather armor is good for keeping a bite from breaking the skin, but one of the bloody things still brought its jaw down hard enough to break my arm. Nothing a healer couldn't fix, but I cannot recommend it it as an activity for fun.
