He could return here. It's not unfathomable to consider, or bad to hope for it. Though I'm sure it's hard to think of now, when everything hurts like it does.

I wouldn't discount it right away. Vallo is very powerful, as a magical entity. The waypoints are powerful.

You'll find a way, Siri. Doesn't mean you'll forget him, or stop loving him, but you'll find a way.

It's true, he might not. With this place, it's hard to say definitively either way. We won't always have the answers, not to every question. We just kind of have to take the time we do have, while we have it. That's what I told him once.

I know it's the fucking worst. But you've still got me. And if you want to stay here, I'm sure we can work something out. The mortuary's occupants have kind of thinned out lately.

Thank you for talking to him. He and I were working things out, and I know that helped. I wish we'd had more of a chance. Even if he comes back with no memory of this place or time, I would take it.

Maybe it did. But being dead, that means this is where you're supposed to be unless another t, as much as you want them to be with you. So that makes you the contact point, not the world you came from.

We don't have any way of really knowing why people yet yanked where and when they do, or how many different times they do. I've been doing this for years across different universes and I still don't know anything more now than I did the first time. But I can tell you that if this is some kind of balance thing or jigsaw puzzle, whatever is behind it in whatever world you're in will keep trying to make it all fit together, over and over again.

So they could come back to you right here, even if it's not from the time and place they were from this time.


Sorry, that's all I've got when it comes to being reassuring about this stuff. The rest is just a lot of jaded stuff you don't need.

You know how much about the Force I know, since the brain twins thing, but maybe even if the Force is the only thing here with answers, it, I don't know, wants you to find the answer? Like a teacher who won't tell you what you got wrong on a test or something. Or is that disrespectful to talk about the Force like it's a pain in the neck teacher or parent?

How do I do this, losing people and stuff over and over, is that what you mean?
