Good morning, everyone. I'm sure most of you have seen, but in case you've not, it appears as if both Hawke and Anders have gone home very unexpectedly. I don't think I need to remind everyone of how Hawke's attention to detail and organizational skills provided Skyhold with an attentive tenant and a kind landlord; without her efforts the castle would certainly have either gone to seed to faded away altogether.

I've spoken with Isabela and together we've decided that I will oversee Skyhold in much the same manner as I did back home - I have no intention of changing any kind of tenancy or coming up with rules for anyone who chooses to make this beautiful place their home. Because this sounds like a lot of responsibility, and I don't have Cassandra to run crying to when someone does something scary, Dorian will be my co.... responsible person? Is that the title I'm going to go with? Terrifying. But yes, Dorian and I will be working together to maintain Skyhold and make sure it's available to anyone who would need it.

Which is to say, as I've spent a good month now sitting on my arse, I'm delighted to have a grand project. If you currently live or work in Skyhold, please comment here with who you are and what you do. This is for my knowledge so that I can get a better idea of what we have versus what we need, and provide accordingly.

Thank you ever so much, and happy Day of the Fancy Buzzard to one and all who celebrate it.

I saw :(

Do I still get to be the official go-to blacksmith and sorta-arcanist for Skyhold?

Rotten, isn't it?

Brigitte, I would be delighted if you chose to stay with us at Skyhold and continue to provide us with your services.

It almost felt like a checklist of people I've talked to.

Aw, I'll still do most of the work in my shop at the village, but I'll continue visiting regularly and handling tasks for you <3

I haven't had any coffee yet so I read that as 'comment here with who you do' and I almost had an even more flippant response than this one, if you can believe it.

Thank the Maker you shared your reading mistake with the class, Head Mage Teacher Person. I think we've all benefitted from hearing it.

I'm tired, Inquisitor. But fine, my useful contribution is that Atreus will still be around to tend to the stables. And Hazel too, since she's got her horse here. I think they're the two stable hands that haven't disappeared though you know how it goes around here.

Damn. I don't even know how someone runs a castle and I don't work there but I'll help you with whatever? Did someone show you how to use Microsoft Excel yet?

I'd appreciate any and all help, although at this point I'm not even sure what I have. They did, yes! It's --- well, Microsoft Excel is an exercise in frustration, but when it works it's the most sexy thing I've ever seen. The automated formulas! The dropdown possibilities!

Oh, good. 'Cause that's the best way to keep track of things and budgets and shit. Once you figure out what you have you can make a list.

I have a manager who keeps me organized with my touring, otherwise I probably would end up in Saskatchewan when I was supposed to be in Atlanta. But I still know some shit. I'll get you a dry erase board with markers - it's better than making to do lists on paper and your blood pressure will drop like ten points, dude.

Agreed. Home is-- not necessarily welcoming to Anders, but with Hawke at his side I'm certain they'll come through.

I am sorry to hear that. I know things have been complex for Anders in his time here.

I do not work at Skyhold, but I do work with Dorian occasionally outside of it, if you require any assistance from me or my friends, we could be hired.

They very much have - I can only add to the chorus of well wishes that he finds some peace at home however unlikely that may be given things.

Thank you! Now that I think about it, I have seen your name pop up from time to time. What kind of assistance do you specialize in, out of curiosity?

If it's not the title you're going with, I'm afraid it's too late, I've already made business cards for Dorian and they're fantastic.

It's hard to lose people. Hawke was nice enough to let me work there this whole time.

We spoke before, but I'm Hazel Levesque and I help with the horses. It's more part-time because I go to school, too, but if you ever need help with something else, let me know. I come from a Roman camp, so I know how to quickly set up and take down things and underground is a specialty. At least navigating it.

I remember, absolutely. I'd love for you to use Skyhold as a part-time place to work. How did Hawke repay you, if you don't mind my asking? I've no intention of changing the well-working system that she set up.

It's one of my favorite places to work. Outside of Camp. But I don't want Camp Jupiter to show up empty, so I'll stick to here. Oh. Um Money. Usually. But whatever works for you guys, honestly.

It's sad to see that they went. When I first arrived, I couldn't speak because of an injury and Anders helped to heal it so I could speak again. And Hawke was a good friend to Dan and I.

I'm glad the castle is still here, though. And that it has someone to look after it.

Anders is a very powerful, very thoughtful mage. And Hawke - well, everyone knows what a hero Hawke is. I'm not surprised that they managed to make a mark here in Vallo while they were here.

Skyhold has always been a comfort to nearly everyone who ventures through the gates. We used it as a base following a devastating attack - had we not found it, we would undoubtedly have frozen to death. I'm very, very glad it's here and useful to others.

He was. I know things were hard for him. She is. They were great people.

I'm glad you all found it, then. It was very nice not to have to think too hard about a wedding venue.
