This place has a very strange sense of humour, I must say.

I enjoyed the play. I've always been a theatre fan, although I can't say I've ever seen this particular... rendition of theatre.

[Atreus]

You seemed aware of both myself and the world I am from. You also had questions - do you have any more now that my brother is apparently here?

You came to see the show? I'm so glad you enjoyed it! When you say you've never seen this rendition, was this your first time watching a musical?

I suppose so, yes. I have heard of the opera, but I did not spend enough time on Earth to partake in much theatre in general.

Do they have theatre where you're from?

Asgard? Of course, but it's displayed quite differently. I wrote a play about my own death once which was greatly amusing.

We should all be so lucky! Not that I'm much of a playwright or that my death was very interesting. Eh.

I can appreciate opera, though it's never been a favourite.

Just do what I did and fake your own death on multiple occasions, of course.

I think I preferred this rendition of a musical play to opera, personally.

On multiple occasions? I'm intrigued.

Musicals are my preference, too. I wish I'd known you were coming to see it, I would have come and properly introduced myself after. I've been meaning to reach out anyways and see how you're getting on with being here.

Well, it's certainly been... interesting. Incredibly mundane at the same time, which is perhaps why it's so fascinating.

Not really, thankfully? He was here before, and I talked to him then. He was a little different because he'd been to more worlds and already knew Torunn. She's filled in blanks otherwise.

I just warned Jörmungandr, though. He won't be a problem unless Thor starts something first.

Interesting that he's been here previously and doesn't remember it.

[...] Jörmungandr was one of my children, once. It's... strange that some version of him is here.

That happens pretty frequently around here, unfortunately. He looked different then too, but then so does the Thor in my world.

I k I've known him for a long time, he's saved my life a few times over the years and we're two of the only last of our kind, so.

Terribly sorry that there's also a Thor in your world.

I understand that, to an extent. I don't have many condolences to offer you.

It's not needed. I've built a family here and they're good for me.

In the past it was bad. Now, it's... less so, but still complicated.

I'm not usually one for family, myself.

Good luck! I work up to "tolerate for Torunn's sake" with Thor, I can't promise that with Odin if he ever shows.

It did for I can offer up my father but something tells me you wouldn't like his way of doing things.

I believe if 'my' Odin ever shows his face, I will be the first in line to deal with him.

You mentioned your father previously, too. He's here, I'm assuming? I'm rather too old for a parent now.

All yours! My plan was just to avoid him until he tried to kill me.

He is, his name is Kratos. His dad was Zeus so he'd probably say the same thing.

Why would an Odin from our version of the universe be inclined to kill you?

I don't know for sure if yours would? I just know mine wants us dead (for a few reasons) and he's a paranoid jerk.

He does a lot of stuff with the defense group, so if you ever end up doing things with them you'll probably see him.

Likely not. Without meaning offense, he would likely consider you to be somebody else's problem if you were to become one unless you were a direct threat to Asgard or Thor.

Possibly. I believe Valkyrie mentioned them, if you are referring to the group supposed to protect this area.

They are one and the same, but. Yes, he likely does. He's also dead - that doesn't seem to matter too much here, though.

Ah. I'm not really the 'protector of the realm' type. Thor is, though.

I'm Jötunn too. Half, anyway, my mother. But it doesn't, there's a lot of people here that were dead back home or dying.

Ah. So the prejudice of Jötunn carries through to other universes? Then again, I can't say I'm particularly a fan of any that I met, nor the ones who abandoned me.

The Thor I know may be an oaf, but he does mean well. Usually. I am not one to defend him, but he wouldn't attempt to harm you.

Aband I was born away from them, after the war between them and the Æsir, my mother escaped and their world was locked away. She met my father after and had me, so I wasn't raised around them. I didn't even know until she passed and we took her ashes home. But the stories I know of, the people I've heard of, they were all good people who just wanted peace away from Odin.

--Sorry. Yeah. I've heard stories from Torunn, and the other one that was here did yoga? He was nice.

Not too long ago I wouldn't quite have believed the stories of a version of Odin who sought destruction, but he was incredibly adept at hiding his past from us, even with knowledge of his "necessary" massacres.

... Yoga?

We were raised on stories of a benevolent King who only murdered when absolutely necessary to achieve his end goals. Regardless of the story, people died as collateral for the good of Asgard - it was never said as such, but I recognise it now. It was a golden realm built on the bones and blood of civilizations long gone. Why am I telling you th

I'll suggest it to him. Perhaps he'll take it up.
