"Guilty as charged," he answered. He held out a hand in greeting. She looked a bit rough around the edges, like she probably wasn't settling into life in Vallo any easier than he was. It was a strange place, with unknown dangers and unknown elements. There was a lot to stress over, and not much to instill a sense of calm.
He felt like he was a breath away from a panic attack, and he wasn't prone to panicking. He'd lived through a vampire rising, after all, and had done pretty well for himself, in his own opinion. He was trained for combat, for adversity. Landing in this place had done nothing to quiet the raging waters that rumbled inside him.
But introducing someone who had never had chocolate to the joys of Kit Kats was something he could definitely get behind. Hopefully she'd like them. If not, well. He wouldn't take it personally, and that would just mean more Kit Kats for him.
